What mountains are close-by to alpine, nordic ski or snowboarding?
We are a quick drive to Stratton, Bromley, & Magic Mountains. We also have cross country trails leading from our back door! We offer discounted lift tickets to Stratton for our guests.
How far is it to the ski areas?
10 minutes to Stratton and Bromley, 15 to Magic, 20 to Viking Nordic Center and 25 to Wild Wings.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We do not accept credit cards, Venmo, or Zelle. We do accept PayPal, Checks or Cash.
Do you have a minimum night stay?
Two-night minimum for winter weekends, otherwise, one night is fine. Three-night minimum during holiday periods.
Is breakfast included?
Yes - made-to-order breakfast with many local ingredients - eggs from a near-by farm, bacon and sausage from a local smokehouse, great coffee, really good breads etc.
What time does breakfast start?
In the winter, we start serving at 7:00 (7:30am mid-week) for those who want to head out early for good parking and fresh tracks. But for those who aren’t in a rush, we serve until 9:00 (or so!).
Free WiFi?
Yes, throughout the inn.
Do you have a liquor license?
We do not have a liquor license so you are welcome to bring your own wine, beer, etc.
Is there a refrigerator in each room?
No, but you are more than welcome to keep some personal items which need to be kept cold in one of our fridges.
Do you allow children?
We are family-friendly inn.
Is the Inn pet-friendly?
Our Ethan’s Alley Suite is the only room that allows pets - it has a private entrance on the ground floor. We also have a resident cat, Niles, who spends many lazy days in the sunroom (he is not allowed in the guest rooms, sorry!).
